Driven by a multitude of factors, demands on laboratory performance are becoming ever more intensive. The labor pool of qualified technicians continues to shrink while the demand for greater volume and accuracy in test results is increasing at an alarming pace.
The need to manage and perfect laboratory processes becomes crucial with the added complications of new technologies– such as amplified testing of nucleic acid analytes.
To meet these demands, laboratory personnel must be constantly vigilant for ways to improve efficiency and productivity through better control over the operation and function of all aspects of the testing process.
